About This Image

From Camera Notes Vol. 6 No. 4, 1903, including cover sheet with printed photographer name and title of the image. This original print was part of the last issue of Camera Notes to be published. By then it was edited by Juan Abel. Some silvering on print.

Adolphus H. Stoiber (1853-1916) was an American photographer and member of the New York Camera Club,who has work in the collection of the J. Paul Getty Museum. Besides Camera Notes. this image was exhibited at the 1897 Eastman Photographic Exhibition in London and was published in the accompanying Kodak Portfolio Souvenir.
