About This Image

Of these 3 ambrotype portraits, two are glass plates only - no case. One of these shows a single Japanese boy wearing a kimono, and it's a half-view; the other is a studio portrait of two boys. The third portrait also shows two boys and this one is housed in an original kiri wood case - bottom of case only, lid missing.
