About This Image

This remarkable wooden plane has done everything in the book - fighting, bombing, photo reconnaissance, transport. It can carry a 4,000-pound bomb, or can be fitted with rockets, besides cannon. It was, at one time, the fastest plane in operation in the world and recent modifications enable it to bomb from 30,000 feet. "Mozzies," as they are affectionately known by their crews, have for months been bombing Berlin almost nightly in all weathers.

Most U.S. domestic Fed Ex ground shipping (Media Mail for books) is free of charge except for larger and heavier items, or unless the buyer wants express shipping (email us your requests for the latter).
