The Egyptian tomb-mosque of the Circassian Mameluke the Sultan Quait Bey has been admired ever since its completion in 1742 as a near perfect example of Cairene architecture with its well balanced dome,minaret, octagon, circle, square, oblong and triangle. Title on recto ofmount. Frith scratched into negative.
