About This Image

Linn was Associate Director and Master Photography Teacher at the Clarence White School in New York City, founded in 1914 by the famous Pictorialist, and providing instruction in that tradition. Here the captures the dark tops of trucks, aligned in a nicely linear pattern before a loading dock, unloading their wares. Bustling New York industry with a poetic eye.
