Photographer's stamps and photo agency stamp on verso. Originally called Mormon Station, Genoa was the first town in Nevada, founded in 1848. Passes black light test. Todd Webb was born in Detroit, December 15, 1905. Webb learned the skills of fine art and photography in the late 1930s at the Detroit Camera Club under Ansel Adams. During World War II, he was a photographer in the Navy. Later he moved to New York City, where by 1949 he gained a worldwide reputation for his photography. Webb died in Auburn, ME on April 15, 2000.
