This edition of Aperture was dedicated entirely to Minor White's superb photography, and includes excerpts from his diaries and letters. Also included is a biographical essay by James Baker Hall, who had access to all of White's personal papers and was a colleague during White's tenure at Aperture. White was an editor of Aperture from 1952-75 and this edition of the publication was dedicated to him and published 2 years after his death.
