Connell (1898-1961) was a Hollywood photographer known for his portraits and Southern California lifestyle photographs. He worked for many publications and directly for the Hollywood studios. Connell founded the photography program at the Art Center in Los Angeles and taught there from 1931 until his death in 1961.
