Dramatic image of men seated and standing on a train in the pass. Obviously the train is checking out the new tracks, pieces of which can still be seen at the side of the tracks. The title, negative number and photographer's credit typically reversed out of the negative at the bottom of the image have been cropped out in this version. See: The Getty Museum website for this image; and Catalogue of the Amon Carter Museum Photography Collection, #3149, p.328 for another version of this image; also Bridges, Trestles, and Viaducts, p.61, pl.36. A little light edge fade at the two sides, but otherwise a strong print.
Shipping and insurance costs will be added to the price and must be paid for by the buyer. Pennsylvania buyers must pay appropriate local sales tax. International clients are responsible for their VAT and other custom's oriented charges.
