Matted and in custom black hardwood contemporary frames. Henry Stevens' (1843-1925) carbon prints of orchids are listed in the Oct. 7, 1882 issue of the Photographic Journal. He was a member of the RPS from 1882-1897. He lived in Addlestone in Surrey, U.K. He was known for his beautiful carbon enlargements from an 8 x10 in. negative.
