About This Image
In 1911 the company name was changed to Lumiere & Jougla, so this image is likely to be made slightly after that date. In "A Lumiere & Jougla" cardboard passe-partout with R. Dechavannes, Paris, Depose (registration mark for the passe-partout itself). The pass-partout is 8 x 6-3/8 inches. The Lumiere studio often used these pass-partouts for their work, although not exclusively. However this one also has an additional overlay on the passe-partout the repeats "Autochrome Lumiere". I have never seen this particular overmount and I think it adds credence to this photo being taken by the Lumiere studio.
