Photographer Cole Weston died April 20th in Monterey, CA. He was 84. Although a photographer in his own right, he will be remembered primarily as the son of Edward Weston, who did much to maintain and extend his father's legacy. The younger Weston was a master printer of his father's negatives and the executor of Edward's estate.

Cole Weston, who married and divorced four times, continued to publish and teach until his death. He was Edward Weston's fourth son, and the last of his children to die.

Cole Weston himself is survived by four sons, two daughters and nine grandchildren.
