Pre-order Vintage Works' New Limited Edition Book on Early French 19th-century Photography

This new English-language 216-page hardbound linen book-catalogue with dust jacket focuses on early 19th-century French master photographers. It contains 196 full-color and captioned photographs and illustrations, 38 extensive photographer biographies, a multi-page bibliography and text on French daguerreotypes. Most of the images in the catalogue are also offered for sale. Biographic information corrects a lot of the photographer information currently in vogue, and is a must for any serious collector or curator.

Pre-order price, including free ground shipping in the U.S., is only $99.50 per copy. The hardbound first edition will be limited to only 150 signed and numbered copies on a first-come, first served basis, plus three desk copies. 100 of these are reserved copies, so only 50 will be available for sale. After publication, the price will be $125 per copy, if available.

There are very few works in English (or French) on this important early history of French photography. This is a "must" for any important photography library.
