DC Antique Photo, Postcard and Camera Shows Sold and under New Management

The Annual DC Antique Photo, Postcard and Camera Shows have been sold and will resume under new management in 2019.

The announcement was made by Diverse Markets Management (DMM), a DC Company, which also manages several area outdoor markets. DMM President Michael Berman said the purchasers were a joint collaboration between Jeff Bradfield of Dayton, VA, and Mary Martin of Havre de Grace, MD.

Berman said, "Both Jeff and Mary are familiar to our exhibitor community, so we expect an easy transition to the next show scheduled for March 10, 2019," again at the Holiday Inn Rosslyn, 1900 N. Ft. Myer Dr.

Bradfield has managed the postcard show since it joined the photo show lineup in 2012. He is a veteran Shenandoah Valley antiques dealer, who has owned the Rolling Hills Antique Mall in Harrisonburg, VA, since 2001 and also managed an annual summer postcard show in Harrisonburg for the past 35 years.

Martin's company bills itself as "The World's Largest Postcard Shop", which is located at 230 North Washington St., Havre de Grace. Martin also manages The NYC Vintage Photo Fair.

Martin said, "The company was started by my mom in the 1960's. I have run the business since she passed away 15 years ago. My son Joe Russell works with me and manages day-to-day operations. We also promote more than 20 shows a year, and we look forward to continuing the great tradition of the DC shows."

Both Bradfield and Martin said they expect to also continue working with the producers of the associated camera show, which was added to the show lineup this year.

DMM announced last month that Tom Rall, who has managed the photo show since it was acquired by DMM ten years ago, has retired.
