DESCRIPTION:

A very rare historically important image. Queen Victoria and her husband Prince Albert left Osborne, England, for France on August 18, 1855 on their new yacht, the Victoria & Albert. They landed at Boulogne. For nine days Queen Victoria and her husband visited France and were received in Paris by acclamation. It was the first visit of a British monarch to France in 400 years. The visit was considered a brilliant success.

Shipping and insurance costs will be added to the price and must be paid for by the buyer. Pennsylvania buyers must pay appropriate local sales tax. International clients are responsible for their VAT and other custom's oriented charges.
