DESCRIPTION:Title written in period ink on recto of mount: "Bronze Statue of Marcus Aurelius. Once Gilded and Placed in the Forum. Now on the Capitoline." A wonderful image with great presence. The last time I liked a monument-as-photograph as well, it was a Charles Negre that sold for over $92,000. Shipping and insurance costs will be added to the price and must be paid for by the buyer.
