DESCRIPTION:Signed with address in ink, Laguna Beach Art Association and typed credit labels affixed to the reverse of the mount. This print is probably unique. No other prints were in the estate at the time of Lois Cunningham Outerbridge Jr's gift to the Laguna Art Museum in 1968. There is a growing appreciation for Outerbridge's work as an influence on contemporary color art photography. See: Dines, A Singular Aesthetic, p.190, fig.409. Provenance: Estate of Outerbridge, Jr.; Gift of Louis Cunningham Outerbridge, Jr. to the Laguna Art Museum in 1968; Christie's, New York, October 3, 1996; to a private collection.
