DESCRIPTION:Photographer's name penciled on reverse of print. Victor Guidalevitch (1892-1962) was a civil engineer and important amateur photographer from Antwerp. He is listed in most of the photographer databases. This image has many of the qualities of a Dutch still life painting. See: Gruber and Gruber, The Imaginary Photomuseum, pl.201.
