DESCRIPTION:Signed and titled in pen on the recto of the mount. Dekais, who was Belgium, spent his professional career as a drawing teacher and his greatest hobby was painting, including watercolors and oil. According to relatives, his favorite paintings were landscapes, especially of "water landscapes" from the terrace of his villa on the Costa Brava (in Spain). Dekais fought during WWII against the Nazis and received a medal after the war. Shipping and insurance costs will be added to the price and must be paid for by the buyer. Pennsylvania and New York buyers must pay appropriate sales tax. International clients are responsible for their VAT and other custom's oriented charges.
