DESCRIPTION:

According to the artist, this image was "made from pieces of my trip to England. The tower is made from the walls of the crumbling Glastonbury Abbey, and that's Ilfracombe on the right, and the village of Corfe Castle on the Isle of Purbeck on the left. The deer are the King's Royal Deer, and the sea would be the Bristol Channel, I believe." Signed, dated, titled on label on verso of mount. Edition in 40 x 30 in. size is 10, plus 2 APs; in 24 x 20 in. size the edition is also 10, plus 2 APs at $2,150. The largest size is 72 x 60 in. in an edition of 3, plus 2 APs for $9,500 mounted, but unframed. These prices include mounting, but do not include framing or shipping. Claudia Kunin was born August, 1954, in Los Angeles, CA. She received a BS in Psychology from the University of Oregon. Kunin has intermittently had exhibitions of her personal work while pursuing a career in commercial photography. A partial client list includes: AT&T, American Express, Wells Fargo Bank, Concorde Pictures, Pfizer Pharmaceuticals, Ford Motor Co., Sprint Communications, Rolling Stone, Martha Stewart, Wm. Morrison and Penguin Books. She is now solely pursuing her fine art and has a number of bodies of accomplished work, including: "Revenant", "Ghost Stories" and "Holy Ghost Stories". Her new work is a complicated process of photographing models in the studio, background shoots and a considerable amount of work in Photoshop. These powerful archetypal images are virtually unique in contemporary art.Shipping and insurance costs will be added to the price and must be paid for by the buyer. Pennsylvania buyers must pay appropriate local sales tax. International clients are responsible for their VAT and other custom's oriented charges.
