When his employer announced he was going on a trip to Brazil, Almasy bought a Leica and went along with him, and when he returned, some of the pictures were published in the 'Berliner Illustrierte'. He traveled to countries around the world in the 1930s, before settling down in France in 1938, from where he traveled photographing for the French government. Towards the end of the war he worked for the American army, and then was an official photographer for agencies including UNICEF, UNESCO and the FAO. For years he taught photography at the French education center for journalists.Shipping and insurance costs will be added to the price and must be paid for by the buyer.
