DESCRIPTION:Image is of a beautiful woman whose hair style, sensuality, and rather shapeless brown velvet gown (compared to the corseted clothing women wore in 1910) mimics the free-flowing spirit of the Pre-Raphaelite women from a few decades earlier. She stands before a tapestry, a long table with an open book, and a riotous bouquet of red gladiolas: history, culture, and nature. In original autochrome box.
