About This Image
For more information on this series of images, see: Malcolm Daniel, The Photographs of Edouard Baldus, p.76, 167 and 281. The shadows appear to be the photographer himself and his camera. Baldus apparently made 13 negatives of this area to fulfill a commission from the prefect to document buildings slated for destruction during the rebuilding of the quays. He also added at least one view from his inventory of negatives.
Shipping and insurance costs will be added to the price and must be paid for by the buyer. Pennsylvania buyers must pay appropriate local sales tax. International clients are responsible for their VAT and other custom's oriented charges.
