Glitzy but often difficult to use contemporary photo website EYESTORM has apparently bit the dust, reportedly falling into receivership according to former employees. SOTHEBY'S continues to bleed money. Just reported results for the first quarter ended March 31, 2002 include a net loss of $23.1 million, or 38 cents per basic and diluted share, compared to a net loss of $22.5 million, or 38 cents per basic and diluted share, for the first quarter of 2001.
